Radio and TV presenter, Steven Taylor, chats to Faizal Sayed about his new TV series.
Deen TV, channel 365 on StarSat and 152 on Openview HD launched the talk series called Talking Point with Steven Taylor. The series is a lifestyle talk show hosted by Steven Taylor.
Taylor is not new to the entertainment and media industry. He started his career on community radio at the age of 15 when he was still in school, and has never looked back.
In his time on radio, Taylor has interviewed the likes of F.W. De Klerk, Wayne Brady, Daniel Bedingfield, Jenna Elfman, Boris Kodjoe, Carly Rae Jepsen, Dolph Lundgren and many more.
Talking Point is a talk show with a twist which will focus on lifestyle, entertainment, and current affairs. Viewers will be able to engage with the show via various Social Media platforms. The show will focus on exciting, motivating and thought-provoking events taking place in South Africa and around the world.
Steven said that he is extremely excited about the new show and happy to be working with a professional team at Deen TV. “It is a new challenge going from Radio to TV but a challenge that I am looking forward to. Each week will be something different and appeal to people of all ages and races. I look forward to this new journey with Deen TV”, said Taylor in an interview.
Taylor also enjoys giving back to the community and is an activist for anti-bullying after he was bullied at school. He now uses his past experience to educate and motivate Learners at schools across South Africa. He has become somewhat of a socialite, attending most major public-interest events in South Africa.
Talking Point will support charity events and organisations, sit down with your favourite celebrities, headline-making politicians, as well as normal people trying to make a difference.
Deen TV CEO and TV Talk Show Host, Faizal Sayed, added that he was excited about the series and that Deen TV welcomed the show as one of it’s brand new series which forms part of an exciting line up of programs being launched in the next months.
Talking point will air every Saturday at 19:30 CAT and will be repeated on Mondays at 10:30 CAT and Wednesdays at 14:30
